After coming to the UK, I found that the education system in the UK is very different from that in China, which makes me not used to it. Therefore, in this series of works, I hope to continue to discuss education issues in China and even the whole East Asia through an extension of previous works.
Japan's Nobel laureate in physics, Shuji Nakamura, has been a vocal critic of the system, arguing that the modern Prussian education of the East Asian country discouraged students from pursuing deeper research. Examination-oriented education regards students as machines to receive education and teachers as tools to impart knowledge, but neglects the subjectivity and uniqueness of human beings. The youth in the growth process is like the plant, need nutrient ability to grow healthily, and these examination, academic record doctrine but invisibly erased the child's creativity, imagination, be like a scissors, cut off the prickle on the cactus body. Cactus is a symbol of strong, with their tenacious vitality in the dry desert growth, although he looks humble, but there is a tenacious vitality, just like we learn in a competitive environment, a microcosm of growth.
I want to create an educational standpoint that is suppressed by the education system and loses the space for the development of "happiness", and expresses an educational standpoint that restricts students' freedom and occupies a large amount of students' thinking and activity space, so that subjectivity cannot be fully developed. I hope to attract the attention of the education system, and re-examine themselves, develop a more reasonable education method, let the children more healthy and happy growth.
